GRANTS
Although the FQMD is statutorily authorized to provide façade grants and incentives to utilize vacant buildings, upper floors and land, and aide in sidewalk repairs, the FQMD does not have an operational grant program at this time.
FUNDING
Pursuant to La. R.S. 25:799(F) and La. R.S. 25:799(D)(1)(c), the FQMD is authorized to acquire gifts and grants,and receive and/or apply, contract and expend for its purposes any appropriation or grant from the state of Louisiana, its political subdivisions, the federal government, or any other public or private source.
